This course focuses on application of the nursing process in meeting the mental health needs of individuals, families and communities. This course exposes students to evidence-based knowledge and skills in the assessment, diagnosis and management of mental disorders in persons throughout the life cycle. The course prepares the learners to make sound clinical judgments using critical thinking skills and caring principles to provide evidenced- based nursing care.
