This course introduces the student to health informatics. Emphasis is placed on current trends and issues in information management in healthcare and the utilization of technology to support nursing practice. Students will apply critical thinking skills to examine the various ways in which technology can support evidence-based information to improve the quality of nursing care regionally and internationally.
