This course is designed to engage the student in the critical analysis of nursing science, theories, philosophies, and models. It focuses on strengthening the student’s knowledge of the metaparadigm of nursing and selected nursing theorists from both grand and midrange perspectives. The student will apply the paradigms of selected theories to their particular areas of nursing research and evidence-based practice.
