This course provides an overview of the evolution of Caribbean health care delivery systems including their organizational structure, financing system and models of health care delivery.  Comparison is made with international health care models, and their relevance to health care delivery in the Caribbean region.  Students will examine the impact of current health care polices upon the health status of individuals.  The importance of effective information management on quality operations and strategic decision making in health care delivery will also be explored.
