In this course, issues, trends and methodologies in health care quality management within the framework of Caribbean health care systems are explored.  Emphasis is placed on ethical, bio-ethical, economical and legislative issues confronting health/nursing care delivery. The subsystems of health care and the impact of public, private and social sector on the quality of health care delivery are examined.  The roles and responsibilities of the nursing administrator in health care delivery are addressed.
