Human Resource Management in Nursing/Health Administration
The design of this course provides a wide perspective of the theories and principles of human resource management and their application to nursing/health care. It introduces students to the most relevant issues in personnel and human resource management and critically examines the nurse manager’s roles in enhancing the growth and development of the human capital in nursing. Issues of employee appraisal and discipline, union management relations and quality management are addressed.
