The African-Caribbean Worldview and the Making of Caribbean Society (2009) is Horace Levy’s ambitious atempt to give space, play and agency to an often subjugated African diaspora subject. Pulling together contributions from scholars from a variety of fields, the work atempts to document and problematize from multiple perspectives the non-material drivers of African oppression and resistance in the Caribbean.
