Cluster 8:

Named in reference to EU member country Greece

Known for its creativity and vitality when it comes to hall life, Cluster 8 has a very rich history. This cluster has been the place of residence for many crreative minds as it was home to Mr. Amorkard Brown, past PEACE President, Prime Miinister's Youth Award Recipient and the winner of the prestigious and most coveted Shark Fin Award for the 2012/2013 academic year.

This cluster has been the birthplace for mentorship and outreach as it created the hall’s two mentorship programmes - The Hope Valley Experimental and the Craig Town Mentorship.

Between the years 2005-2007, it became almost routine for the Cluster to win the annual Cluster Lighting Competition. Olympia is also host to one of Preston’s earliest parties, "Greek Tease", which, for a number of years, followed the cluster’s annual Toga Auction. Both activities were held during the Cluster Week.

Today residents enjoy Greek Tease and a food sale during the Cluster Week.

Olympia is a member of Zone 3.
