Sherwood Manor

Cluster 1:

Named in reference to EU member country United Kingdom.

A former home to the first and founding PEACE President, Mr. Travis Weekes, this cluster boasts a rich line of leadership committed to enhancing hall standards. Among other personalities to reside on this cluster are Franklyn Haliburton, co-writer for the Preston Song and Layne Robinson, a former Hall Chairman (1998-99) turned Resident Advisor (2002-2007). Haliburton also served as a Cluster Representative and Robinson served as Acting Student Services and Development Manager on several occasions between 2005 and 2007.

Between 2005 and 2006, the cluster was heavily involved in making fashionable clothing trends which were showcased during Fashion from Garbage and Preston Week. In 2006, Sherwood Manor produced another Hall Chair, Joel Richards, a Vincentian by birth.

One of the first Resident Advisors for the cluster was Mr. Clinton Beckford, a former Hall Chairman for Irvine.

The cluster is known for its family spirit and tenacity which has led to two consecutive victories in the ECC Fashion from Garbage competition, 2nd place in the PEACE Dance Competition, 3rd place in the Hair Styling Competition, and 5th in the PEACE Art in Low Places Competition.

Sherwood Manor is also one of the six clusters with a flat for a Resident Advisor.

Sherwood Manor is a member of Zone 1.
