Growth and Purpose Sessions (GPS)

GPS ( Growth ana Purpose Sessions) are designed to target different areas of development for final year commuting students who wish to “zone” in on their development in a very intentional way. As such, a series of sessions are developed to focus on increasing employability, professional dress in the workplace, resume and cover letter writing and how to navigate the world of internship.

Students who participate in GPS will develop academic knowledge and career management skills to be successful, become aware of their competencies, develop or enhance employability competencies.

GPS will help Commuting Students to:

1. Enhance awareness of their academic knowledge/competencies.

2. Enhance Career Management Skills to be successful in the world of work.

3. Enhance their employability and entrepreneurial skills.

4. Expose students to internship and graduate opportunities.
