Faculty of Law
The objectives of the Law Society are to:
1. Lay the foundation toward increasing awareness of the law as it applies to, and affects us.
2. Pave the ways towards the creation of an indigenous Caribbean jurisprudence.
3. Engender a sense of community and family within the Faculty of Law.
4. Facilitate the development of the law student academically, socially and professionally.
⁃ Reach out and have a demonstrative impact in the community through programmes aimed toward assisting those less fortunate and offering guidance when appropriate.
5. Be a forum, where the interests and ideas of law students can be expressed.
6. Encourage intellectual discourse through political debates and round-table discussions.
