The Faculty of Law, The University of the West Indies, Mona (MonaLaw), regrets to inform that our colleague, Mrs. Suzanne Ffolkes Goldson, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023.

Mrs. Ffolkes-Goldson joined The University of the West Indies, Mona in 1996 as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law. She taught at the Cave Hill Campus between 1989 and 1995 before joining the Mona staff.

During her tenure, Mrs. Ffolkes-Goldson served in various leadership roles in the Faculty for approximately 18 years. She was an expert in the field of Corporate Law, having taught and published extensively in the areas of Company Law, Corporate Governance and Corporate Management. Mrs Ffolkes Goldson taught both in the Undergraduate LLB and the Postgraduate LLM programmes.

At the time of her death she was a Senior Lecturer and interim Dean in the Faculty of Law.

The Faculty extends condolences to the family and friends of the late Mrs Ffolkes Goldson.
