Wellness Tips

• When last did you reflect on the things that are going right in your life? So often we get focused on the problems of life that we forget to give thanks for the things that are going well. One way to help us focus on these is to keep a gratitude journal. If you choose to do so, remember to review the journal regularly. A long-term view of our accumulated blessings can help us keep a positive perspective on life. (new year tip)

Security Tips

 Always lock your car doors.
 Always roll car windows up tight.
 Never leave valuables in vehicles (especially hand bags, money, cell phone, lap-tap and other equipment).
 Place valuables in car trunks before coming on campus.
 Avoid carrying cellular phones openly on the outer parts of clothing or on a neck strap.
 Avoid walking and talking on the phone as you move about in public places since this may reduce your awareness of your surroundings and give perpetrators an opportunity to identify victims with expensive phones.
