Director, Professional Services Unit

Ms. Edwards joins MSBM from a 9-year career as President of JAMPRO, where she and her team led the expansion of the BPO sector and were instrumental in driving the government’s Business Environment Reform Agenda.  She won a Gold award as “Business Development Executive of the Year” and Silver in the “Woman of the Year in Sales” category in the 2021 Stevie International Business Awards.

She is the past President of the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies and has served on various government boards. She was also a member of the Institute of Chartered Marketers and Institute of Directors in the UK and a Director of the British Foundation for the UWI. Ms. Edwards hold an MBA from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and a Bachelors in Foreign Languages from the University of the West Indies.

Mrs. Glenister holds a Bachelor of Computer Studies and Management from the University of West Indies Mona and a Masters in General Management majoring in Marketing and International Business Management, also from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

She is a leader with a growth mindset and experience in leading best-in-class teams across diverse locations. Mrs. Glenister is skilled in leadership, general management, marketing, programme management, communication and execution. She has over 20 years of senior management and executive roles including Marketing and Product Manager of Scotiabank, Deputy Director of Tourism and Chief Marketing Officer at Jamaica Tourist Board and Head of Group Marketing and Corporate Communication at NCB. She led the development and deployment of the 2020 Global Recovery Marketing and Communication plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Camile also led the Rediscovery Jamaica multichannel local recovery campaign that drove 40% local tourism occupancy.

Head, Management Consulting

Samanthi de Mel is a Chartered Accountant by profession and fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants and Chartered Management Accountants of United Kingdom and also holds a Master of Business Administration from Irish Business School in Ireland. Mrs. de Mel has over 25 years of experience in Project Management, Project Financial Management, Financial Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Public Procurement, and Information Communication Technology & General Administration.

During the period of 2001-2018, Mrs. de Mel was the head of Corporate Services of the Management Institute for National Development (MIND) the premier Government Leadership/Training Institute in Jamaica which also serves the Caribbean. Over this period, Mrs. de Mel handled a number of national and regional level projects which were funded by the international donor agencies such as UN, World Bank, Carioca, IDB, CARICAD, CIDA, EU etc. Mrs. de Mel was also involved as a member of the Project team of the adoption and implementation of the CBET approach to the programs at MIND.
