Michelle V. Davis

Michelle V. Davis is currently a CUSO Co-operant/Research Assistant at the CGDS at the UWI, Mona. Her work at the Centre includes acting as one of two researchers for the United Nations Development Fund for Women’s (UNIFEM’s) Transformational Leadership Programme and the “Root Causes of Gender-Based Violence in Jamaica” research project. She is also co-authoring a chapter on teen life in Jamaica for Greenwood Publishers, contributing to a gender-training module for use in the Caribbean, and a study guide for the course, Research Methods and Interactive Skills. She has worked in the area of HIV/AIDS for the past seven years and in several countries, including Jamaica where she is a member of the Education Sub-Committee of the National AIDS Committee.
