Beverley-Anderson-Manley was a leading activist in the struggle for women's and children's rights particularly in the 1970's and 1980's. A Lecturer and Organisational Development Practitioner - she facilitates transformation workshops in Corporate Jamaica and among community groups. Her ongoing research is in the area of Gender and the State in the Caribbean. For the past twelve years she has been co-Producer/co-Presenter of the early morning week-day discussion programme- “The Breakfast Club”.
