The General Stores is responsible for providing departments with a wide range of items as follows:-

• Plumbing Material
• Linen & Soft Furniture
• Tools & Transport Equipment
• House ware Material
• Miscellaneous Provisions
• Stationery

The Aim of the General Stores
To provide the Campus Community with goods and services of the highest quality and at the most competitive prices.

Outline of Processes

•  The prescribed staff member goes online (Banner) and orders the required Stores items following which the requisition is approved by the Budget Holder.

• The requisition is then forwarded to the Bursary for Budget and final approval after which issues are made by General Stores.
• Daily deliveries are made to Departments.
• Charges for items issued are automatically debited to Departmental Accounts via the Banner Stores Module.

• Rental of Half Drums.
• Custodian of Graduation Gown and Hoods.
