Who we are and what we do
The Payroll Department is responsible for processing all employee wages and salaries, withholding all appropriate taxes on wages, filing of payroll tax reports, deducting benefits and other authorized items from employee wages.

Payroll reception is located on the 1st floor of the administrative annex. We are open from 8:30 am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
If you're unable to drop in, you can always email us at payroll@uwimona.edu.jm or contact us on ext. 7853-7860. Due to security reasons, there's certain information we can't provide over the telephone or by email if emails are received from personal/private email accounts.
About Us
The Payroll Unit has changed significantly over the years. However, the most radical change has been the implementation of the PeopleSoft Payroll in 2001. As a result, the Unit now offers its clients a more effective and efficient service.
The upgrade of PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS to Pure Internet Architecture has allowed employees to access information across the world through via the internet. The self-service functionality which allows our employees, to update personal records: addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts, and view payslip
