Study Overview & Project Timeline

In the JA KIDS’ study, participants were recruited while pregnant during March to September 2011 and also at the birth of their child (July 1, 2011 – September 30, 2011). Subsequently, contact was made via telephone with parents when their children were 9 – 12 months and 18 – 22 months.  At each contact, participants are asked questions about their health and well-being, their child’s growth and development, the child’s environment, nutrition and parental practices.
