Ms. Catherine Lloyd, a recent graduate from the Faculty of Science and Technology at The University of the West Indies Mona was recognized for her outstanding financial presentation on 'Genesis Career Centre' winning the 'Best Presented Financials' prize at the Vincent HoSang UWI Venture Competition, which ran from September 2024 to January 2025. The announcement was made at the awards ceremony on January 24, 2025.
Catherine's innovative pitch, 'Genesis Career Centre,' impressed a panel of business development experts. The 'Genesis Career Centre' is a career development agency dedicated to equipping young professionals with the tools and confidence to navigate their career journeys successfully.
Catherine earned her BSc in Biochemistry with First-Class Honours in 2024 and previously served as President of the FST Guild Committee of Students (2023/2024). She is currently pursuing an MSc in Biomedical Research in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, The UWI Mona.
