UWI Team meets with Climate Justice Advocate

On Friday, January 17, 2025, The Climate Studies Group Mona (CSGM), within the Faculty of Science and Technology at The University of the West Indies, Mona, hosted Conniel Malek, and Executive Director of the donor organization ‘True Costs Initiative’, as well as a former Jamaican corporate environmental lawyer. Her visit brought together key UWI stakeholders involved in climate justice, including representatives from the Faculty of Law, the Legal Aid Clinic, and the Institute of Gender and Development Studies, to explore avenues for enhanced collaboration.
