Dr. Debbie-Ann Gordon-Smith Reappointed to HSRA Board of Directors

Dr. Debbie-Ann Gordon-Smith has been reappointed to the Board of Directors of the Hazardous Substances Regulatory Authority (HSRA), Government of Jamaica, for the period December 10, 2025, to December 9, 2027.
 
Dr. Gordon-Smith is a  Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at UWI Mona, with research interests in environmental and analytical chemistry, focusing on water quality, marine pollution, and coastal environmental monitoring. She has led multiple national and international projects on water quality assessment and climate-related environmental research, including collaborations with the UK’s Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas).
 
The Faculty wishes her all the best with her portfolio.
