The CB Group/UWI 5K Walk/Run will take place on November 10, 2019 at 6:30 am and yours truly FST Mona will be there! FST is the place that makes Science fun and as such, for this edition of the UWI 5K there will be an Inter-departmental competition. The department that has the most representatives registered for the event will win a plaque and bragging rights - in the event of a tie, race places will be taken into account.
The competition is open to staff, students and supporters. On the day, the Faculty will have a tent, where participants can declare which department they're representing.

In addition, there will be a section for the Kids. Register children by November 4, 2019 for a fun 1K race around the Ring Road - the Smart Eggs Kids K – the only Kids K race endorsed by Running Events JA. Entry fee is $600 and payment can be made by salary deduction, cash or cheque at the UWI Sports Department.
The CB-UWI 5K aims to raise 100 scholarships for UWI students. Let’s help to make students’ dreams come true!
