On November 28, 2019 at the monthly Science For Today series, the head of the Meteorological Services Climate Branch , Jacqueline Spence announced the presenting of awards on behalf of the Goverment of Jamaica to members of the faculty, for their work on the recently published IPCC Land Report. The awards were handed to the recipients by Dr. Sherene James-Williamson, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, the UWI Mona.
The recipients of the awards are as follows: Dr. Donovan Campbell, Dr. Adrian Spence and Prof. Noureddine Benkeblia (shown respectively in the photos below).
