Congratulations to Dr. Andre Coy on his recent appointment as inagural Chairman of the Latin America and Caribbean Geographical Outreach Sub-Committee of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA). This marks a significant achievement, as ISCA is the first of its kind in the Caribbean and Latin America.
The ISCA Regional Branch for Latin America and the Caribbean is dedicated to fostering interest in speech communication within the region. It provides ISCA members with a platform to exchange updates on recent research developments and other relevant matters. The branch also sponsors meetings and workshops on speech communication that are both timely and impactful, all within the framework of ISCA’s by-laws. Furthermore, it offers access to essential resources, including text and speech corpora, analysis tools, software, research papers, and generated data.
