Dr. Sylvia Mitchell, Senior Lecturer at the Caribbean Centre for Research in BioScience, Faculty of Science and Technology, The Univesrity of the West Indies, Mona is among the crème de la crème of agricultural excellence! Her outstanding work earned her the coveted "Phenomenal Woman in Agriculture Award." The Jamaica Agricultural Society presented the award at their gala on June 12, 2024, at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. Congratulations, Dr. Mitchell! Well deserved!
