Twenty participants completed training in Food Product Development, 10 in Biopolymers, and approximately 10 in the Passion to Profits Entrepreneurship Programme. Together, the courses brought practical science, product development and business skills into focus.
Professor Thejani Delgoda, Director of CCRIB, brought greetings on behalf of the Centre. Professor Tannecia Stephenson, Deputy Dean, represented the Faculty of Science and Technology. Mr Jordon Freeman, a Research Assistant in the Faculty Office and PhD student in Biotechnology, coordinated the programmes and gave an overview of their objectives.
The presentation celebrated the participants’ achievements and the opportunities that can emerge when scientific knowledge is paired with innovation and entrepreneurship. CCRIB and MAST congratulate all certificate recipients on completing their training.
