On November 11, 2025 the Faculty of Science and Technology at The University of the West Indies, Mona welcomed Mr. Ronald Jackson (2nd left), Head of Disaster Risk Reduction, Recovery and Resilience Building, and Mr. Kishan Khoday (3rd right), UNDP Resident Representative for The Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The visit centered on the road to recovery after Hurricane Melissa and how the expertise of The UWI, particularly through the Climate Studies Group, Mona (CSGM), can support national resilience and recovery efforts.
