The Faculty of Science and Technology proudly celebrates Keshawn McGrath, a first-year MSc student in Computer Science in the Department of Computing, on his election as the 2026–2027 President of the Guild of Students at The University of the West Indies, Mona.

Keshawn completed his BSc in Computer Science in 2025 while maintaining an outstanding record of student leadership and service across the university community. His leadership journey includes serving as:

1. Public Relations Officer, Taylor Hall (2023/2024)
2. Second Year Representative, Department of Computing (2023/2024)
3. Chairman, Taylor Hall (2024/2025)
4. Vice-President of Properties and Special Initiatives, Guild of Students (2025–Present)

Originally from Montego Bay, St. James, Keshawn is also a proud alumnus of Cornwall College.

We celebrate this remarkable achievement and wish him every success as he begins this new chapter of leadership, advocacy, and service to the student body.
