CSGM produces10 National Reports for Vulnerability Risk Assessments and Climate Change Adaptation Plans

The Climate Studies Group Mona (CSGM) commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation (MEGJC), Jamaica and with funding from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), has produced ten critical reports for informing national policies, adaptation strategies, and sustainable development efforts. The reports include five Vulnerability Risk Assessments and five Climate Change Adaptation Plans for five priority sectors—Coastal Resources, Health, Human Settlements, Tourism, and Water. The reports provide in-depth assessments of climate trends, risks, and impacts, and offer evidence-based guidance to decision-makers as they try to navigate the challenges of a changing climate. The reports therefore support the increased mainstreaming of climate change considerations, focusing on adaptation measures tailored to the key sectors. By making these resources accessible, the CSGM aims to empower policymakers, researchers, and the public with the knowledge needed to drive effective climate action and safeguard Jamaica’s future.
