The Junior Mathematical Olympiad 2019 First Round Launched

The first round of the Junior Mathematical Olympiad launched on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 with three consecutive days of tests sat by a total of approximately 2300 students from roughly 160 primary and prep schools islandwide. Participants were from grades four to six.  

The first round of tests followed the qualifying round which commenced on November 30, 2018 with the qualifying exam being published in the Children's Own. After submitting answer sheets through the respective schools and qualifying, students were then taken to the next step, that is, to participate in the first round of tests.
