Toni Lee, a Medical Physics major with a minor in Computer Science, is graduating from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Class of 2025, with a journey defined by resilience, leadership, and purpose. As a first-generation university graduate raised by deaf parents, Toni credits her upbringing for shaping her determination and self-advocacy. Their unwavering support and lived experiences taught her how to persevere, even when the path became challenging.
During her time at FST, Toni actively contributed to student life through her service on the FST Guild, where she represented the Physics Department and served as Publications Chair. These leadership roles strengthened her appreciation for community and reinforced the value of service-driven leadership rooted in helping others succeed.
Reflecting on her experience, Toni notes that one of the greatest lessons FST imparted is the affirmation that women belong in STEM. She leaves the Faculty confident in her voice, empowered to lead, and committed to shaping the future of science and technology. As a member of the FST Class of 2025, Toni Lee graduates grounded in purpose, strengthened by community, and ready to make a meaningful impact.
