Roshae Sinclair was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with First Class Honours and is currently pursuing research in Artificial Intelligence at The University of the West Indies (The UWI), with a clear aspiration of becoming a lecturer in the future.

During her time at The UWI, Sinclair played an active role in student leadership and advocacy, serving as the Faculty of Science and Technology Computing Representative. In this capacity, she worked closely with a dedicated committee to strengthen student engagement within the department. Among her most impactful contributions was her role in helping to establish the Department of Computing Honour Society, an initiative designed to recognise and celebrate outstanding academic achievement among computing students.

Beyond the classroom, Roshae has demonstrated a deep dedication to community service and social impact. In her second year at UWI, she became an active member of the Rotaract Club, contributing to several fundraisers and outreach initiatives, including International Coastal Cleanup Day. Her interest in research and the agricultural sector also led her to co-found FreshJA, a mobile application designed to connect consumers directly with fresh produce from local farmers. As Research Coordinator, she played a key role in the project’s success, earning 1st Runner-Up and Best Undergraduate Team at the Vincent Hosang Competition in 2025.

Roshae is equally passionate about inspiring young people to engage with technology. She volunteered with Flow’s annual Girls in Tech initiative, assisting students in coding digital circuits using Tinkercad. She later served as a judge at the First Tech Robotics Competition, where she evaluated innovative, student-designed robotic solutions and witnessed firsthand the creativity and technical excellence of emerging young engineers.

Roshae attributes her achievements to her faith in God, drawing strength and purpose from the belief that all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
