The Department of Government is a vibrant Department steeped in the intellectual tradition of scholarship, research and teaching. It is committed to academic excellence and is student-centered. Our M.Sc. and PhD students are integrated in the Department through face-to-face teaching, supervised research papers and theses and through research projects and undergraduate tutoring. The Department’s graduate programmes equip students for careers in university teaching, academic and public administration, international and domestic politics. Our students are employed at various private, non-governmental, international and regional organisations.
