The minor in Terrestrial and Freshwater Ecology is designed to provide an introduction to the biological aspects of conservation science; community ecology, population biology, biogeography, conservation genetics, and assessment of threatened or endangered species and habitats.
The redesigned minor expands the coverage of conservation biology previously only focused on terrestrial ecosystems and will introduce students to an important area of biology and its applications, much neglected in the Jamaican and Caribbean context.
Our 7 faculties and 12 professional schools offer more than 200 programmes to some 18,000 graduate, undergraduate and continuing studies students.
