4 STEP GUIDE FOR SUBMITTING ONLINE

Please review the steps below carefully before submitting your application

STEP 1

  • Review the “Guidelines for Preparing Research Proposal” document and the Application form templates (Form A & Form B) before preparing your proposal.

STEP 2

  • Register for a UWI Scholar Account. Please see Applicant Manual to complete this step. Researchers must use their UWI email to register i.e. @mymona if you are a student and @uwimona if you are a staff. It may take up to 24 hours to approve your account therefore, it is advised that researchers register at least a day prior to submitting their application.

STEP 3

Submit Application (See Applicant Manual in Step 2)

  • Ensure that all the relevant documents are uploaded i.e. signed Cover Letter and Checklist from the Supervisor, Consent Form, Budget, Permission letters, Flyers etc. were applicable. Once you have appropriately filled out Form A & B, the “Submit Application” button must be clicked in order to submit your application.
  • NB: While filling out your application if you have to pause it is advised that you completely fill out the form you are completing and click save before leaving the computer. This will ensure that your information is saved and is on the system upon your return.

STEP 4

Make Payment

  • Review the administrative fee list for the cost of your submission.
  • Make payment using one of the payment options. You may access the admin fee list & payment options under "Schedules & Forms". A copy of your receipt must be sent to mcrec@uwimona.edu.jm
