UWI to Co-Host 2025 GVN Regional Meeting on Arboviruses

The University of the West Indies (UWI) in collaboration with the State University of New York (SUNY) and the Global Infectious Diseases (GID) Research Training Program is hosting the 2025 Global Virus Network (GVN) Regional Meeting for the Caribbean and Latin America.

Scheduled for May 1–2, 2025, in Kingston, Jamaica, the event will spotlight the theme “Arbovirus Research and Education Symposium.” It brings together leading researchers, public health experts, and academics to address the growing challenges posed by arboviral diseases in the region.
