The 14th Annual Conference of the Academy of International Business – Latin America and the Caribbean (AIB-LAC) Chapter, held at the Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM) at the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel , concluded on a high note on March 22, 2024. The conference, themed "Rethinking and Reshaping the Role of Business in Creating a More Sustainable and Resilient Latin America and the Caribbean," brought together leading academics, business professionals, and government officials to explore critical issues and solutions for the region's future.

Engaging Discussions and Networking Opportunities:

Over the course of three days, attendees participated in insightful panel discussions, presentations, and workshops. The conference fostered lively debates on topics ranging from sustainable business practices and regional integration to the impact of technological advancements on international trade. The evening featured electrifying performances by renowned artists like DBrunz, DJ Kaotic, Hummingbird Steel Pan, and the Sonic Dancer. The infectious energy had everyone, Jamaican and non-Jamaican alike, dancing to the latest moves well into the night.
