For over two decades, Research Day at UWI Mona has been a flagship event, providing a platform to showcase the university’s most groundbreaking work and its profound impact on national and regional development. Research Day 2025, scheduled for March 13,2025, will continue this tradition by highlighting research that fuels innovation, informs policy, and advocates for meaningful societal change.

Under the theme “The UWI Mona: Driving Jamaican, Caribbean and Global Development" , this year’s exposition will offer visitors an immersive experience in the world of research-driven transformation. Visitors can expect thought-provoking exhibits, insightful panel discussions, interactive research displays, and a special Pitch to Donors session, where innovators will present research-driven solutions for funding consideration.

The day will culminate in the prestigious Principal’s Research Awards Ceremony.This event not only celebrates academic excellence but also strengthens connections between researchers, industry leaders, and stakeholders invested in the advancement of knowledge for societal growth.
