TOPIC: Youth in Research
OVERVIEW: What do young people on the Mona Campus think about research? Is research relevant? A viable career to pursue? This event will facilitate dialogue between students and some of the outstanding movers and shakers among our peers who are making waves here and abroad through their research in various fields and their efforts to provide answers for some of the big issues affecting our youth and our region. Make it a date.
Our 7 faculties and 12 professional schools offer more than 200 programmes to some 18,000 graduate, undergraduate and continuing studies students.
The UWI, Mona ranks first in Jamaica among accredited tertiary-level programmes. In 2012, the University was again one of Jamaica’s Top 100 Employers.
