Hart analyzes being ready for the Geography examination as consisting of three aspects: being free of tension and anxiety on the day of the examination, having the necessary equipment, e.g. pens, string, ruler etc., and knowing how to handle the examination paper in general and the questions in particular. This practical approach is perhaps based on his long experience in dealing with students in the Geography classroom.
The book is written for both Basic and General Level candidates and its stated aim in “to help candidates pass the Caribbean Examinations Council examination in Geography”. To achieve this aim, the author sets out to provide “practical advice on how and what to study and revise and how to tackle all types of questions.” The model answers serve as guides to the standards expected.
