The broad purpose of the Project RLA/142 which is now in mid-run is to expand and assist in improving the existing facilities for teacher education and curriculum development, with respect to pupils at the 10-15 year age level, within fifteen countries of the Commonwealth Caribbean. Last but by no means least significant of the more specific objectives defined in Project Plan of Operations is "to make appropriate applications of modern technology to teaching and learning and to increase the capability of Teachers' Colleges, Teachers' Centres and the region as a whole for the production of educational materials."
