Abstract:

For the majority of classroom teachers, the task of reading Piaget's books will probably contrive to be one which gets put off from year to year as more pressing matters and easier reading take priority. However, since his is a theory of cognitive development which both teachers and parents should be familiar with, it is very useful to have books which interpret or explain Piaget's theory in more readable form than the originals.
