Second Year Transformational Experience Programme (STEP)
STEP is designed to focus on student development and success. It will avail students with the opportunity to engage in activities that cater to their individual needs and interest.
The programme has embedded in its curriculum, faculty interactions outside of the classroom space, which will allow students to develop life skills and enhance their interpersonal skills through networking; leadership, career direction and service learning focus. With these focus areas in mind, we would have developed in our Second Year UWI, Mona Commuting Students: Academic Enrichment, Career Exploration and Co-Curricular Development.

Students who participate in STEP will be:
1. Exposed to programmes that will assist in their development or enhancement social and professional competencies
2. Exposed to programmes which will make them reflect on self.
3. Supported by Graduate Students Facilitators
4. Exposed to opportunities which will assist in discovering career possibilities.

1. Self-Management Workshop Series
2. Vision Board/ Goal Setting Workshop Series
3. Student/ Faculty Mingle
4. Examination Prep Sessions
5. On-going Monitoring Session with STEP Facilitators
