The city of Port of Spain is exposed to both natural and man-made hazards, specially flooding and high rains, exacerbated by climate change and socioeconomic factors.
The objective of this workshop is to open a collaborative space to identify the main lessons and best practices from regional and global case studies in developing solutions for water management and flooding infrastructure to support the city’s current initiatives to meet the needs posed by the Action Plan of the USAID funded project, Accelerating the Essentials and Making Port of Spain a resilient City – MCR/2030 .
