Soyini Elliott is a graduate of the UWI Mona Class of 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology with Upper Second Class Honours. Ms Elliott is currently pursuing a MPhil in Geology focussing on copper mineralisation in Jamaica. Copper mineralisation is associated with igneous rocks in the Cretaceous and Lower Paleogene rocks of Jamaica. Her aim is to understand the field relations of existing mineralisation with through the collection of samples in the field for laboratory analysis. Soyini intends to upgrade to a PhD by 2024.
