Synopsis:

This study aimed to find out the decayed, missing and filled teeth of 12-year old children in the British overseas Territory of Montserrat. No study had been carried out before. Additionally, the oral-health-related quality of life of the children was measured using a questionnaire.

ABSTRACT

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the caries experience and oral health related quality of life of 12-year olds on the Caribbean island of Montserrat. In addition, any difference in the dental caries experience was explored by gender and socio-economic status.
