Dr. Thera Edwards (Department of Geography and Geology) was selected to be one of two Jamaican delegates at an outreach event on IPCC activities and findings as a part of the Fifth International Conference for the World Balance in Havana, Cuba on January 26, 2023. The main objective of the event was the presentation of key findings from the three recently released contributions to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report on The Physical Science Basis, Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability, and Mitigation of Climate Change. Dr. Theresa Rodriquez-Moodie of the Jamaica Environment Trust, a graduate of the Department of Geography and Geology was the other Jamaican Delegate.
