Study in Ireland

Ireland is offering three new scholarships to Small Island Developing States in each of the Pacific and Caribbean regions for Masters level studies in Ireland in the academic year 2020/2021, in courses relevant to addressing climate change, the blue economy and associated challenges.

Here are the eligible countries:

Pacific region: Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu.

Caribbean: Antigua & Barbuda, Belize, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Suriname.

The closing date is the 31st of January 2020.

 RISE professional - Research Internships in Science and Engineering (DAAD)

Who can apply?

Master’s students and PhD students from North American, British and Irish Universities who must be fully enrolled at the time of the internship in the fields of science or engineering.

 OAS Scholarship- University of the West Indies

Study at any campus of the University of the West Indies: Jamaica, Trinidad or Barbados. 

The UWI offers over 800 certificate, diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate degree options in Food & Agriculture, Engineering, Humanities & Education, Law, Medical Sciences, Science & Technology, Social Sciences and Sport.

 GHC- Facebook Grace Hopper Women in Computing Scholarships

This scholarship program is open to all women currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking university program, majoring in Computer Science or a related field (i.e. Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, Information systems). It enables one to attend the prestigious Grace Hopper Women in Computing conference in Orlando, Florida from September 30 – October 4, 2019 (includes travel and lodging expenses).

There are also opportunitites for Staff Members.
