Friday, November 4, 2022 will forever be etched in the minds and hearts of the graduating class of 2022. Why? After a two-year hiatus of the traditional face to face graduation ceremonies due to the COVID-19 pandemic, graduates in The Faculty of Science were delighted to forego a virtual graduation and walk across the stage to collect their degree canisters –  a symbol of dreams realised, challenges overcame, friendships formed, knowledge gained, opportunities seized, talents nurtured and access to unlimited possibilities. The valedictory message was delivered by Danielle Mullings, who was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering (major) and Film Studies (minor) from the FST. The ceremony was attended by over thirty (30) FST members of staff who joined families and friends in celebrating the achievements of our graduates. It was an unforgettable ceremony welcoming change, progression and moving onto new adventures. Four-hundred and eighty (480 – 300 Females & 100 males) undergraduate degrees and fifty-one (51) graduate degrees with twelve (12) PhDs were awarded for the 2021-2022 academic year.
